Tosca has released a brand new menu filled with Italian favourites. The trattoria-style restaurant in DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru is going back to its roots by incorporating classic Italian-style cooking with premium ingredients to bring diners an authentic taste of one of the world’s most revered cuisine.

The all-new menu features offerings designed to reflect hearty flavours through simple, quality-sourced ingredients such as top-grade olive oil, fresh tomatoes and herbs; all of which are the foundation for the rustic cooking methods. At Tosca, sauces are simmered for hours to obtain the best aroma, while pizzas are baked in traditional woodfire ovens for crisp, airy crusts like the good old days. 

The signature dishes in the revamped menu include appetisers like Prawn Salad and Antipasto Misto. For pastas, try the Vongole (a clam-centric pasta with a delicious sauce) and Scoglio Squid Ink (squid ink pasta chock-full with seafood).

Pizzas such as Calzone Bomba (oven-baked folded pizza stuffed with ingredients) and Quattro Formaggi (quintessential Italian pizza with four types of cheese) are crowd pleasers and perfect for sharing. Mains like Wagyu Beef Burger and Brasato di Manzo (pot roast, stewed with root vegetables) are hearty portions with quality products taking the centerstage.

For meat lovers, a variety of Angus cuts such as striploin, ribeye, shortloin, and op ribs are available. The meat have been aged in a meat ageing machine dryer for 21 days, ensuring a more pronounced flavour.
